- Tracker do sounds better then chip, that is true. But there are some GREAT
- chip songs out there. And they do not take much CPU to produce. And some
- sound is better then no sound I would say.
- So my vote is that we go for chip music in game. No old chip music thought.
- Maybe not even an old player. As we all know the players in the mad max
- songs for example have been speeded up ten fold. (Oxygene) So we should
- have the best. No old code so farso why throw in some crap now?
- And well... digi drums allways sounds nice. And a way to do tht easily is
- that the chip player tell my sound GFX routs to play the drum as a ambient
- sound with HIGHEST priority.
- One channel will be used then but the sound will be played and all 3 chip
- channels free. And I think that sample replay on one chip channel both will
- take more CPU and sound worst then this.
- The only prob is that if the sound FX are turned of. The digi drums would
- not be herd eather. This on the other hand is my prob. And would easily be
- overcome if I use 3 modes: 1) Totaly off 2) 1 channel (Digi drum) 3) Full
- channels
- Hmm anyway. just an idea...
